TruScan

TruScan is a robust system designed for quick and precise material identification combined with easy operation. It is mostly used for inspection of pharmaceuticals and raw materials in chemical industry. The inspection can be performed upon receipt, output or sale of the raw materials. It is also possible to inspect intermediates and final products. Using Raman spectroscopy TruScan quickly and easily detects any material substitutions and confirms, whether the substance declared on the package is the one inside. It is possible to scan without contact - through glass or plastic.

TruScan RM

TruScan RM is a new generation of spectrometer TruScan. It keeps all the advantages of previous generation and it also comes with a number of improvements:

  • half the size and weight (0,9 kg)
  • five times faster analysis (10 - 15 s)
  • integrated fingerprint reader for easy user identification
  • new interface for internet/intranet network
  • significantly improved and faster software
  • new display with higher resolution

Typical application is identification/confirmation of raw materials or identification of counterfeit pharmaceuticals directly in the field.

TruScan spectrometers have caused revolution in confirmation of raw materials, analysis has moved to the warehouses and in most cases it is possible to do the analysis directly through the package withou opening. This eliminated costly sampling and testing in cleanrooms and laboratory analysis. In common pharmaceutical companies the investment returns in the order of months. That is the main reason why the leading ten pharmaceutic companies have already introduced or are in the process of introducing this technology. As we have verified in Czech republic, this technology is very profitable even for small companies.
